....We have been successfully dedicating our efforts to the protection of the environment and its natural resources for many years now because we wish to contribute to safeguarding human health, not only as a ideal but in the small and simple actions we perform every day.

Here are all the aspects to which we pay particular attention:

Waste: We practise separate waste collection and take part in recycling programmes. Wherever possible, we use returnable bottles for drinks and prefer minimal packaging, or packing materials made with re-usable materials in order to reduce waste.

Water: We reduce water consumption by installing flow accelerators and devices in the toilets. We constantly monitor the waste discharge outlets to avoid water pollution.

Detergents: We reduce consumption of detergents and only use biodegradable cleaning products.

Energy: We have installed energy saving systems in all of the rooms and applied a heat insulation on all of the outer walls. We try, wherever possible, to use low energy bulbs, we have installed latest generation machinery with low consumption rates and we keep the boilers constantly monitored to ensure low heat consumption

Air: We use products without harmful gases and machines with a low impact on the atmosphere in order to keep the air clean.

Electromagnetism: We reduce harmful electromagnetic fields by positioning and using electric devices correctly and by not permitting the installation of telephone repeaters.

Food: We use more healthy foods free from chemical substances. We prefer fruit and vegetables that are grown organically or at least with methods that have a low impact on the environment, the origins of which are known to us. Additionally, every morning for breakfast guests can select from the organic corner, devised particularly with children in mind, which offers large variety of natural products.
 
Noise: We reduce noise pollution
 
Transport: We encourage guests to leave their car at home and travel with public transport. Of course, for those who prefer to travel by car, we have plenty of convenient parking space. We place bicycles at guests’ disposal free of charge for short distances. 
 
Cultural heritage: We promote our marvellous inland areas, which are full of history, culture, tradition and natural beauty. For us, improving the hotel's environmental protection policy - without detriment to the service offered to you, our guests - means treating our surrounding environment with the respect it deserves.
