At EM | Hotel & Spa in Cattolica, check-in is available from 3:00 PM on the day of arrival. Guests who wish to arrive earlier may request early check-in, which is available for a fee and subject to availability at the reception.

Check-out from EM | Hotel & Spa is by 10:00 AM on the day of departure. If you wish to leave your room later, you can request a late check-out at reception, subject to availability and for a fee.

Yes, at EM | Hotel & Spa in Cattolica, you can book parking; options are available by reservation and for a fee. The hotel has a covered indoor garage and two nearby partner parking lots. For loading and unloading luggage, our guests can conveniently access the entrance at Via Matteotti 38 (directions here), before parking their car.

The main entrance to EM | Hotel & is at Via Curiel 39, a pedestrian street right in the heart of the city, about 100 meters from the beach. To find us, enter Via Matteotti 38, into your GPS, which is the address of our rear entrance, where the hotel parking lot is located.

If you've booked a parking spot in the garage or in the parking lot at Piazza I Maggio, we recommend stopping by the hotel first. That way, you can check in, unload your luggage, and get all the necessary directions from the staff to easily find your assigned parking spot.

EM | Hotel & Spa has three options for your stay to choose from:

• Bed and Breakfast (B&B): includes stay and breakfast
• Half board: includes stay, breakfast, and a choice of lunch or dinner. Drinks are not included.
• Full Board: includes stay, breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Drinks are not included in this case as well.

• Sweet and savory breakfast buffet, with freshly brewed coffee.
• Access to the outdoor pool with sunbathing area and whirlpool, open from May through September.
• Access to the hotel gym.
• Children's activities, scheduled from June through September.
• Use of the kitchen for new parents and access to the playroom.
• Unlimited Wi-Fi in your room and throughout the property.

• Beach service at Zona 44, the hotel’s private beach club located about 100 meters from the property.
• Admission to SPA39, the hotel’s in-house wellness center. You can choose between shared access with other guests or Private Spa packages for exclusive use.
• Parking at the hotel or nearby; please inquire as availability varies.
• Bike rental, with various types available: city bikes, e-bikes, road bikes, gravel bikes, and mountain bikes.

When booking at EM | Hotel & Spa in Cattolica, you can choose from three different rates:

• Standard Rate: a 30% deposit is required. You can cancel your stay up to 7 days before arrival; in this case, the deposit becomes a voucher valid for 12 months. If you cancel after 7 days, the deposit is withheld.
• Insured Rate: a 50% deposit is required, and the rate is 10% higher than the standard rate. You may cancel up to 72 hours before arrival and receive a refund of your deposit, less the 10% insurance fee.
• Non-Refundable Rate: this rate offers a 10% discount (not combinable with other promotions), but requires immediate payment in full for the entire stay at the time of confirmation. In the event of cancellation, the amount paid is non-refundable.

At EM | Hotel & Spa, you can pay for your stay with major credit cards, by bank transfer, or in cash within the limits set by Italian law.

If paying by bank transfer or check, the balance for your stay must be paid at check-in. To avoid any inconvenience upon arrival, we recommend checking with the hotel reception in advance regarding any bank processing times or special conditions.

No, EM | Hotel & Spa has not changed management. The historic Hotel Europa Monetti in Cattolica has changed its name to EM | Hotel & Spa, but it continues to be managed by the Monetti family.

EM | Hotel & Spa features 63 rooms divided into three main categories. Each is designed to meet different needs, from a romantic getaway for two to a family holiday, business trips, or short stays.

All rooms feature modern furnishings, a contemporary style, and tastefully decorated interiors. Some rooms also have a sea-view terrace; please request this when booking, subject to availability.

At EM | Hotel & Spa, mealtimes are scheduled to allow guests to enjoy their day with peace of mind and flexibility, whether spending time at the beach, relaxing, or going on excursions.

The current schedule is as follows:

• Breakfast hours: 7:30 AM – 10:00 AM.  During sporting events, trade shows, or business stays, you can request an early breakfast at the time of booking.
• Lunch hours: 12:30 PM – 2:00 PM
• Dinner hours: 7:30 PM – 9:00 PM

During the off-season, lunch and dinner hours may vary slightly depending on the hotel’s operations and the number of guests staying at the hotel. For special requests or needs related to events, sports, or work, it is always advisable to check with the reception before arrival.

Absolutely. EM | Hotel & Spa offers gluten-free dishes and products for guests with coeliac disease or gluten intolerance. You can request dishes to suit your dietary needs at both lunch and dinner, as well as gluten-free options for breakfast.

We take our guests’ dietary requirements seriously; however, we do not have a separate kitchen exclusively dedicated to preparing gluten-free food. This means that while we can provide gluten-free alternatives, we cannot guarantee the complete absence of cross-contamination.

Yes. EM | Hotel & Spa is one of the few hotels in Cattolica to have its own private beach, Zona 44, just a two-minute walk (100 meters) from the hotel.

Unlike typical beach clubs along the Romagna Riviera, Zona 44 reserves its beach spots, including umbrellas and gazebos, exclusively for hotel guests, offering a more peaceful atmosphere and more space between each spot.

Zona 44 is also pet-friendly and welcomes four-legged guests with dedicated facilities, including fenced gazebos for guests travelling with dogs, small pet loungers, and comfortable, well-organized spaces designed with your furry friends in mind.

The outdoor pool at EM | Hotel & Spa is open from May through September, weather permitting. The pool is unheated and features a swimming area, a children’s area, and whirlpool, all of which are available free of charge to hotel guests.

During your stay, your dog will receive a welcome kit in your room and can also join you at mealtimes in the restaurant’s outdoor area, an exclusive space available upon request and for an additional charge. The hotel also has its own pet-friendly private beach, Zona 44, with dedicated facilities and services for dogs.

The entertainment service is available in the summer, approximately from early June to early September. During spring holidays, such as Easter, April 25th, and May 1st, entertainment is available for the duration of the long weekend or public holiday.
